At Interactions we believe in treating the child and adolescent within the context of the family, school and larger community.  We work with families to help them identify and understand their difficulties and then to develop effective solutions.  We maintain school and medical contacts when appropriate in order to provide a more comprehensive and helpful treatment plan for the individual or entire family.

For adults, we offer individual, family, and couples counseling, separately or in combination, so that the person can achieve the best results in the shortest amount of time.

Interactions has been helping people in the local community since 1988.

Day and evening hours are available by appointment. We offer both in person and telehealth appointments.  Call Shari Bennett, Director,  at  (978) 392-9600, ext. 1.  She will talk with you about the issues you wish to address in order to refer you to the most appropriately skilled clinician. Once you are matched with a therapist, Shari will send you the paperwork that must be completed and sent back electronically before the appointment can take place.

Interactions accepts the following insurance plans; Tufts commercial plans,  Harvard Pilgrim, United Behavioral Health, Optum commerciial plans,  and Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans. However, not all of our therapists accept all of the plans listed. Please contact us and we will be happy to discuss the type of insurance you have and make the best therapeutic match possible given the parameters of your coverage.

For those wishing not to use insurance, we will discuss our fees and payment options with you. Pursuant to the No Surprises Act (HR133, Title 45 Section 149.610), we will give you a "good faith" estimate for the cost of therapy.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

Notice to clients and prospective clients:

Under the "No Surprises Act" law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit
